How does the credit card payment work?
Ways to pay for airline tickets
How does the credit card payment work? When booking an airline ticket online, the last step is to choose a payment method. If you live in the territory of Serbia or Montenegro, you have two options: via account or credit card. For everyone else, the only option is to pay with a card.
Credit card payment
If you choose a credit card payment method, indicate whether you are making the payment as a natural or legal person. In case you are paying with an official business card, be sure to enter your details (company name, address and PIB) so that we can send you an invoice for your airline ticket.
If the airlines that you choose to fly receive cards from, you will have two separate transactions. The first (with a larger amount) goes directly to the airline and the second (with a smaller amount) will be charged by Abago d.o.o.
Some airlines do not receive credit cards. In this case, the full amount will be charged by Abago d.o.o.
Card data entry
The payment process itself requires you to enter:
- the name of the cardholder
- until the card is valid (month/year)
- CVV code – the three-digit number on the back of the card
- credit card number (16 digits)
What cards can be paid?
On our site, it is possible to make online payments with Visa and Master cards. After entering all the above information, if your card has 3D secure activated you will be redirected to your bank page. This will require you to enter a one-time password to confirm your payment. It will arrive either by SMS or mail (depending on how you decide at the bank when activating the service).
After a successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail and an electronic ticket very soon. Credit card payments may fail. In this case, please make another payment or try another card.
