Why was my payment declined?
Unsuccessful transaction
A message saying “unsuccessful transaction” will appear on your screen during the online reservation if it is not possible to withdraw funds from your account.
In this case, we recommend trying to go through with the payment using the same card one more time. If this doesn’t work the second time either, we recommend you try paying with another card.
Why does the “unsuccessful transaction” message appear?
There are many reasons why online payments cannot be completed. Some of them are:
- wrong name and surname on the card (owner)
- wrong CVV code
- wrong card expiration date
- not enough funds on the card
- the card is expired
- the card is stolen
- the card is restricted
- a disconnect between bank and customer
- wrong type of card
- you haven’t entered a 3D secure transaction verification code
- a business card that does not support online payments
That is why it is always advisable to try again. Please note that you can pay with Visa or Master on site. Also, some companies give their employees official (business) cards to use, but they do not support online payments.
